The AGV-Transcar system of Sabah Adult Psychiatric Hospital in Kuwait is the largest and prestigious conveying system project of its kind in the middle east.
Maceen Al-Sharq (formerly Hazem & Bros.) supplied and installed the system a solution to the requirements of Sabah Adult Psychiatric hospital in transporting its wide variety of bulk items on routine schedule or on demand from their centralized laundry and kitchen in the basement to different wards in the upper floors of the main building and to its 4-wards satellite which is connected by 800M long tunnel.
This 8 nos. robotic Transcar made from Swisslog-telelift GmbH of Germany moves safely through the hallways, corridors, rooms & elevators accurately and easily integrated to hospital BMS.
The system performance was tested at the site and easily exceeded the required performance in extreme transport demands.
